"Istiqlol" Stadium Gears Up for AFC Champions League Elite

​Preparations for the AFC Champions League Elite matches continue in Fergana. A delegation led by AFC Commissioner Kemel Tokabayev has conducted an inspection at the "Istiqlol" Stadium.

​A working meeting held at the stadium brought together officials from regional and city law enforcement agencies, healthcare and power supply departments, the regional football association, and the management of "Neftchi" FC. The AFC Commissioner provided key recommendations on organizational workflows to ensure compliance with international standards.

​Later in the evening, the delegation directly inspected the stadium's floodlight system (lux level) and uninterrupted power supply. During the process, the capacity of the floodlights required for high-quality TV broadcasting and the readiness of backup generators for emergencies were thoroughly tested.

​As a reminder, the stadium's infrastructure is being fully aligned with AFC requirements to ensure that "Neftchi" FC can honorably represent our country in this prestigious tournament.
