U-19 CHAMPIONSHIP: FIRST ROUND CONCLUDED

On June 13, following the matchday 9 fixtures of the U-19 Championship, the teams officially concluded the first round of the season and headed into the mid-season break.

Competing in the "East" region, our "Neftchi" U-19 team, led by head coach Gayrat Hasanov, demonstrated a consistent, meaningful performance and strong character throughout the first round. In 9 matches played, the youth team secured 5 wins, 1 draw, and suffered 3 defeats, gathering 16 points to sit comfortably in third place in the tournament standings. Our team scored an impressive 29 goals while conceding only 8.

Furthermore, the young "Neftchi" players showcased exceptional efficiency, setting a championship record for the biggest victory of the season. In the 5th round, our youth team hosted "Gazalkent" U-19 and found the back of the net 18 times. In this historic match, Neftchi's forward Mirjahon Tuychiboev scored five goals, firmly establishing himself in the top-scorers race.
