"AL-NASSR" — "NEFTCHI": OUR REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDED THE PRESS CONFERENCE
During the pre-match press conference for the "Al-Nassr" vs. "Neftchi" clash, our team's head coach Islombek Ismoilov and player Ikrom Aliboyev shared their thoughts on tomorrow's match, the opponent's potential, and our team's preparation.
Islombek Ismoilov: "We came to Riyadh for a result"
— Hello! Our opponent in tomorrow's match is "Al-Nassr," one of the strongest teams in Asia. Their squad features high-level and highly experienced players who have established their place in world football.
Of course, this is one of our most important matches. We didn't come to Riyadh just to take the pitch and play a game, but to achieve a worthy result. We fully understand the opponent's strength, yet at the same time, we believe in our own capabilities.
In tomorrow's match, we will use all our strength, skill, and team unity. We will fight to the end to show beautiful football and bring joy to the people of Fergana and all of Uzbekistan.
Ikrom Aliboyev: "We will fight with all our might"
— Hello! As our coach noted, tomorrow we will take to the pitch against one of the strongest teams in Asia. "Al-Nassr" is a leading club on our continent, not only in terms of its squad but also due to its financial capabilities and international experience.
We have prepared seriously for the upcoming match. We know the opponent's strong sides well and have tailored our preparation based on our own capabilities. In football, names and resources are important, but on the pitch, every team achieves results through its own gameplay and fight.
Tomorrow, we will put in all our effort to achieve a result that will delight our fans. Our task is to give our all on the pitch and fight to the end. The result, of course, is from Allah.
Questions addressed to our team's head coach:
— What are your thoughts on the "Al-Nassr" squad?
— "Al-Nassr" is a team composed of very strong players. We are well aware that their individual skills and international experience are at a high level. However, we also believe in our own chances. In tomorrow's match, taking into account the opponent's strengths, we will strive to play our own game. Our main goal is to put up a worthy fight on the pitch, show beautiful football, and achieve a positive result.
— Has a special tactic been developed to limit Cristiano Ronaldo's game?
— Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the brightest stars in world football. His skill, experience, and goal-scoring ability are exceptional. We treat him with respect and well understand his capabilities. But we are playing against the entire "Al-Nassr" team, not just Ronaldo. Therefore, our main focus is on the opponent's overall game, their collective movements, and situations on the pitch. The most important thing for us is to act with discipline, adhere to the plans set by the coaching staff, and demonstrate our capabilities as a team.
As a reminder, the "Al-Nassr" — "Neftchi" match will take place on October 12 at the "Al-Awwal Park" stadium in Riyadh.
