Career

Koffi Kouao developed through the youth ranks at the renowned Ivorian academy ASEC Mimosas. He subsequently moved to Portugal, signing with Vizela, where he launched his professional career. During his time in Portugal, he also went on loan spells at Moreirense and Famalicão. In 2022, he completed a transfer to French side Metz, quickly establishing himself as a core pillar of their defensive setup.

International Career

Kouao represented the Ivory Coast U-23 national team, competing in high-level international youth tournaments.

Kouao is best known for his blistering pace, tenacity in duels, and composure under pressure. A dynamic wide player, he excels at overlapping, delivering precise crosses, and seamlessly filling in at left-back whenever required.

Following the expiration of his contract with Metz in the summer of 2026, the player became a free agent. With over 200 official appearances across top French and Portuguese divisions, he brings wealth of experience to the squad.
