Founded in Fergana in 1962, PFK Neftchi is one of Uzbek football's oldest and most respected clubs.
PFK Neftchi was founded in 1962 in Fergana.
After independence the club regularly took high places in the Uzbek league and Cup.
Today PFK Neftchi represents the Super League on the national and international stage.
1962
The club is founded on the base of oil-industry sportsmen of the Fergana region.
1973–1975
The club competes in the USSR Class B and in 1973 becomes regional champion.
1986
Third place in the USSR second division — best result of the period.
1992
Neftchi becomes a founding member of the top league and wins bronze in its first season.
1994–1996
1994, 1995 and 1996 — three consecutive Cup of Uzbekistan triumphs.
2001
The club's only Uzbekistan top-league title.
2015
A modern 20,000-seat arena opens.
2020–2025
The youth academy is relaunched, the club remains a steady Super League side.
